Mike3loco & Victus' SK Political Spectrum
As in real life, StarKingdoms has a wide variety of political players who have very different ideals when it comes to the game. For this reason Meike3Loco and myself have co-written this article to help display the wide ranging idealogies that can form from a sinple online text based game.

Now to define some of what you can see on the diagram...
Egalitarian:[/b] For the sake of the article we have coined the "left wing" of political spectrum to be Egalitarian. If you fall closer to this end of the spectrum then you tend to care more about the average KD's of the game. Egalitarians would probably be more likely than others to support landgrab retals. They would more likely subscribe to giving all the information about the game to new players, and not as much self discovery.
Elitist:[/b] Is being used to describe the "right wing" of our political spectrum.Players falling closer to this side of the graph are probably less and less newb friendly the closer they get to the right edge. Those at the extreme right probably have personalities suited better for networth whoring than for leading the alliance in retal completion.
Authoritarian:[/b] Designated at the very top of the graph, the Authoritarian personality believes in the rules and regulations created and enforced entirely by the players. These rules are sometimes know as Social Rules or Player Rules. These rules are not made or enforced by the game administration. An Authoritarian personality would prefer more such rules than less rules.
Anarchist:[/b] Using this term to describe the mind set that there should be less or no social rules in the game, only those created by the administration. An Anarchist should dislike the game rules. Dependsing on the extent of this belief, they may actively protest such rules.
The diagram has been divided into four quadrants. The further your score is from the center, the more extreme your views are compared with the majority of StarKingdoms players. If you land in the green squares near the center it means very little. If you land in the middle orange squares then your views are fairly extreme. Landing in the outer blue squares indicate that your beliefs and ideals are quite extreme and probably manifest themselves quite often.
Now on to Mike3Loco's portion of the article... (to be written sometime on the week of November 21-28th)
