I interfear, you dont you scare the living daylights out of the noob and make them go inactive. SPAM is a good part of noob training, makes them feel more comfortable about asking questions, just not to much spam. Policies make the noob read them untill they understand. Game Help tell the noob you are not a pussy for reading the game help, all serious players did at one point. Show Them calcsmake them understand the planet typesHelp them when they are attempting to make a grabthats about all

I think i prefer this strategy of noob training. Prior to knowing about calcs, planet types advantages, and all that did i start becoming a productive kingdom. As for the non-interference strategy, i personally had difficulty with learning how to play defensively on my own. I would get grabbed every day and still didn't realize that i should build more defence for my land. It helped to have someone explain what i was doing wrong rather than me just thinking it's normal to get grabbed every day. Basically, I prefer the Interference method because if you don't educate newbs they just think the game sucks and quit. ;D
