A recap of everything so far this round...
I signed up for round 6 as soon as possible. I landed in 1:23 along with a group of low-ranking Source officers, and another group of veterans from TAG. There also appeared to be another group however they did not fill their spaces. The Source group was the first to arrive in the sector. They grabbed SL and moved us to Source without a vote. My group, which had no real destination in mind, became dead set on getting out of Source because of this. Because I had 4 votes at my disposal, my group effectivly decided where we would go (4 TAG votes Vs 4 Source votes). Since I knew all the KD's in the Source group, I gave them an ultimatum. We were going to outvote them and leave Source no matter what they did, so I gave them the option to choose another alliance, and my group would back them. The 4 of them decided they wanted to make their own alliance, Zephyr. They waited too long to leave the alliance, and one of their group members seemed reluctant to allow anyone from outside Source to join. After concluding that they would be unable to create and manage their own alliance, I shifted my group's 4 votes to TAG. We prompty left Source for TAG. The Source group, frustrated by their failure, left teir KD's for several that had come available in Source. They left their usernames and pass to sombody in our sector, and they have since been filled. A Source admiral commented on this saying that he felt Source was "becmoming a shelter for those who can't make it elsewhere".
The well-known Gypsy is currently our SL. I have little interest in sector politics this round though. Currently I have been named a Sergeant in TAG, which seems to involve organising kills and such.
I've alerted Source to a plan to gangbang one of their only high-NW officers out of or soon after newbie mode ends tonight. I'm not sure how far their investigation has gone since then.
