More and more alliances in recent rounds have takent he goal of reformation (returning round after round) as a serious goal. This article will look at the effects that continued reformation can have on alliance and its leadership. I will be looking at several reforming, long-term alliances.
First let's take a look at Fenris. Fenris has been a major superpower on SK because of their incredible organisation, and ability to dominate in war. However during the last few rounds, the general perception is that Fenris has become a stagnant, and dying alliance. Several attempts to revitalize this alliance appears to have failed since the once dominant Fenris now seems to struggle to reach the Top 5 alliances.
Next I'll cover LuminatX. Lum (to my knowlege) the longest running alliance (with no rounds off) in SK history. Lum's leadership was quite rigid at the higer levels, but flexible enough for new people to quickly rise up the ranks. For the vast majority of its 12 game streak, it was AL'd and managed by one of its original founders, mostly Neal. Lum is a good example of an alliance evolving over time, even having the same set of leadership over time. In my opinion this could show the gradual learning and development of the officers who consistently lead Lum, a learning curve.
Now let's look at Source.

GoC starts to a new round today and everyone is welcome maybe you give it a run. The game is like the good old SK with some veterans but without multi and stuff. www.gearsofconquest.com
